This weekend I was a total klutz and while working with a metal latch/hook thing, I jammed it under my index finger nail (it pulled the nail away from the bed OUCH!). Holy cow, did that hurt! My whole finger swelled up and I was unable to work on my tug toy order for two full days. I’ve had persistent rotator cuff injuries from years of swimming, I’ve had a dog break my finger, and I’ve probably gotten a mild concussion from my head/neck being run into by a 35lb projectile moving at about 20 miles per hour (ie: Shayne)… none of these were nearly as painful as this tiny injury. I was in so much pain I could not sleep that first night. Needless to say it put my tug toy order on hold… so I stayed up late tonight to finish the order so it will ship just a few days later than expected.
SO, since I didn’t even finish my order until midnight, there’s no way I will be able to write a meaningful post for tomorrow. So instead I thought I’d share a few photos… I took a few photos w/ my camera phone of the tugs with the new fleece patterns I used. Also a few photos of Shayne rock-diving yesterday while out playing.
And for the last time… a GUILT-RIDDEN PLEA for votes for Rio’s entry into the facebook contest. Today is the very last day to vote!!! He is slightly behind but still in the hunt to potentially be featured on local billboards. So, if you’d like to see huge billboards of Rio (you’d have to know I’d show that off!) please take a minute and vote for Rio.
If you are a member of Facebook, would you please Click Here and “Like” Molyneaux, the sponsor and host for the contest (the contest raised about $1000 for a local shelter!).
Once you’ve Liked Molyneaux, you can “Like” Rio’s Photo (if the link doesn’t take you directly there, it is located under their photos in the “10 Finalists” album). Voting Ends June 29th so it’s not a long campaign.
If you feel so inclined, I would both welcome and be totally appreciative if you would “share” his photo and voting info with your friends!
Wow – that sounds crazy painful! Glad you were able to finish up that order, though! Better late than never, yes? LOVE those new patterns!!
It was incredibly painful! LOL!! Thanks! I wasn’t sure i’d like them but turns out I do like them!
