In this seminar, we will talk about the ins and outs of the major sports and activities for our canine friends. New to dog sports? This seminar is for you! Not sure what sports are out there for your dog? This seminar is for you! You want to learn what sports may provide a great outlet for your dog’s natural desires? This seminar is for you! Not sure if dogs sports are for you? This seminar is for you!

We will talk about competition/trial etiquette and how to make the trial environment successful for you and everyone around you.

We will talk about ones might be great opportunities for your dog to fulfill some of their inherent or breed specific needs/tendencies.

We will talk about WHY dog sports are so beneficial for dogs, handlers, and the team.

We will cover what competitions are like, the ins and outs of some of the more common spots and what you can expect.

LASTLY, but not least-ly? we are going to cover the skills you should teach your dog if you plan on competing in sports with your dog–skills that are NOT related to the sports themselves!

Our Seminars and Workshops

We offer a variety of Seminars and Workshops!

Seminars and Workshops are single-day (whole or half or a couple hours) or weekend-long learning opportunities. Seminars are more lecture/video heavy, but may offer working spots, while workshops involve more working time along with the lecture.

These learning opportunities, even for working options, are all about teaching the humans new skills, techniques, or concepts. We aim to provide understanding of these important topics or improve trainer mechanics when implementing them! They aren’t aimed at fixing a problem behavior at the event, but giving attendees new tools to address the problem or concern long term.

We will work with clubs, rescues, shelters, businesses and other organizations to host a seminar or workshop. Send us an email and we can discuss details and scheduling!
