Private Training Pricing

This is an approximately 2hr visit that is primarily an information sharing/gathering conversation. Through this conversation we will gather important details about your dog’s concerning behaviors, their life with you, their general behaviore, and your ultimate training goals. You will leave with an immediate plan to help you and your dog and some training exercises to start working on. We then use all of the information we gathered to recommend the best next steps for your dog–a private training package or group classes and will use that information to create your individual training plan.  

ALL consultations take place at our training center or via Zoom.  At our training center, we will observe your dog, evaluate their behavior, and begin to get to know your pup

What students get:

• 2 hours of instruction and information gathering
• A folder full of applicable handouts, worksheets, instructional sheets, and more that we will go over and students can refer back to after we’ve left
• An understanding of their dog’s behavior and help identifying triggers or stressors
• A list of stress/anxiety management tools help stabilize the situation immediately
• A specific management and safety plan to implement immediately to improve the situation from the get go
• One or two pieces of training homework to get started with
• A broad overview of how we are going to help their dog learn better behaviors
• Students are welcomed and encouraged to take any notes during our consult that they feel will help them

Client Report

For an additional $50 and with notice before your session, we can write up a detailed client report of what we talked about during the initial consultation.  We will write up the behavioral information we discussed regarding your dog, the management plan/training tools we talked about, and any other information we discussed in detail.

Students can opt to buy their lessons individually instead of a bulk package once they’ve had an initial consultation.  If a student has been absent for a long while or is asking to work on things not discussed during the consult, SJC may require a second initial consultation be done prior to get updated on changes.

What students get:

• 1 hour of instruction
• Email support or troubleshooting relating to the homework for 1 month after the lesson
• We will go over homework for student to jot down or provide a hard copy of your homework at each lesson. Students are also encouraged to video the skills to look back on for homework
• Students will learn 3-5 skills/exercises in a single lesson

Three 1-hr Lessons

3 Hours of instruction

*Package must be completed within 4 months of the first lesson 

What students get:

• Three 1hr private lessons — typically held once every other week
• We will go over homework for student to jot down or provide a hard copy of your homework at each lesson. Students are also encouraged to video the skills to look back on for homework
• 3-5 Skills will be taught/practiced during each private lesson depending on the issues being worked on
• Students can email for support or assistance as needed for up to 5 months after the initial consult
• The ability to add on up to 3 individual lessons at $105/lesson after completing their package before having to invest in a new package

Save $60 off 3 individual lessons

Five 1-hr Lessons

*Must be used within 6months

What students get

• Five 1hr private lessons — typically held once every other week
• We will go over homework for student to jot down or provide a hard copy of your homework at each lesson. Students are also encouraged to video the skills to look back on for homework
• 3-5 Skills will be taught/practiced during each private lesson depending on the issues being worked on
• Students can email for support for up to 1 year of the consult date
• The ability to add on up to 6 individual lessons after completing their package before having to invest in a new package

This package saves $125 compared to buying 5 individual lessons.

Seven 1-hr lessons

*Must be completed within 1 year

What students get:

• Seven 1hr private lessons — typically held once every other week
• We will go over homework for student to jot down or provide a hard copy of your homework at each lesson. Students are also encouraged to video the skills to look back on for homework
• 3-5 Skills will be taught/practiced during each private lesson depending on the issues being worked on
• Students can email for detailed support or assistance as needed for 1 year from the initial consult date
• The ability to add on up to 7 individual lessons after completing their package before having to invest in a new package

• 3-5 Skills will be taught/practiced during each private lesson depending on the issues being worked on
